Do you know a group or organisation that is working to improve lives in their community?

A Buckinghamshire law firm £10,000 nomination fund supports local charities and projects that are aimed at delivering positive social impact and improving lives. Grants are available from £500 – £3,500. As long as the organisation nominated fits one of the objectives below, there are no restrictions on what the grant can be used towards; it may be for general costs, purchasing equipment or to support a community project. Who can be nominated? Registered charities or voluntary and community groups whose beneficiaries live in Buckinghamshire. Organisations that have previously received a grant from this fund are eligible to be nominated again.

The organisation/project must meet one of three objectives:

Building stronger communities – Invest in spaces that encourage community spirit and reduce isolation
Providing better futures – Support and encourage vulnerable young children to prosper
Helping create safer lives – Reduce exploitation, violence or abuse
How to nominate:

Complete a nomination form

Please note: number of nominations per organisation will not hold any weight when shortlisting. If you are aware that your organisation has already been nominated please do not submit another nomination.

Closing date for nominations: midday 31st August 2018,FQ26,45X1VH,1O94Q,1

What happens next?

After the closing date, the nominations will be shortlisted and these organisations will be guaranteed to receive a grant. They will be invited to give a short presentation to staff at B P Collins in Gerrards Cross, who will then vote for the charities in order of preference. The amount awarded will then be determined by B P Collins.
